Staff members outside the Inland Revenue building<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The offices of the Inland Revenue Division were evacuated on Monday morning due to an alleged strange smell.<\/p>\n

According to information received, the odour was noticed when staff arrived at work.<\/p>\n

Investigations revealed the source was the air conditioning system.<\/p>\n

A source stated that some members of staff began coughing, and they were eventually told to exit the building.<\/p>\n

The Environmental Health Department was notified and is presently on the scene.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, members of staff huddled outside the building as they awaited further information.<\/p>\n

Customers were told that the offices are closed until further notice.<\/p>\n

DNO will provide more information as it becomes available.<\/p>\n
