The Dominica Public Service Union (DPSU) Is inviting all public officers to its general meeting scheduled for next week Thursday.<\/p>\n

Among the issues down for discussion include, salary increases, appointments, upward mobility, gratuity payments, draft legislations for public service, tuition for education, salary adjustments, and the state of the economy among other issues.<\/p>\n

\u201cA special general meeting of the public service union has been called for Thursday, 28 March 2024,\u201d General Secretary of the DPSU, Thomas Letang said. \u201cThe slogan for the activity is’ Your Livelihood Depends on You’.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to him, the slogan seeks to convey the message to public sector workers that it is only through unity among the members and their commitment, that the challenges that currently confront them can be overcome.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt the end of whatever presentations will be made by the executive, our members will be invited to provide feedback and to contribute to the discussion,\u201d Letang revealed.<\/p>\n
