Recently, Teni was approached by one of the UK’s leading plus-size brands to participate in two national advertising campaigns centered around swimwear and denim.<\/p>\n

She often reflects on her journey with a mix of gratitude and disbelief, expressing sentiments like, “I don\u2019t feel like I\u2019m working; I always have a ‘pinch me’ moment\u2014like, is this really happening to me? I\u2019m just a girl from Dominica!”<\/p>\n

Despite her success, she remains deeply connected to her roots, proudly declaring, “I AM A DOMINICAN WOMAN, and that\u2019s why I have the sauce, the drive to keep going.”<\/p>\n

Dedicated to advocating for plus-size, dark-skinned women who frequently face neglect in the fashion industry, Teni’s confidence and boldness are driven by her mission to illuminate the paths of others.<\/p>\n

“We are called the outsiders because all the other clothing brands would not cater fashionable clothing for plus<\/span>–size…<\/span>in the UK.\u00a0 One specific brand selected a group of content creators and called them ‘Insiders’. However, they did not represent any plus<\/span>–size<\/span> content creators, this is why Yours Clothing created this space for us,” she stated, referring to the life-changing opportunity.<\/div>\n
