The Dominica Hospitals Authority is set to organize events in recognition of World Diabetes Day on Thursday, November 14, 2024, following the theme: \u201cBreaking Barriers, Bridging Gaps.\u201d The scheduled activities will feature blood sugar screenings for both staff and the general public, taking place in the foyer of the Dominica China Friendship Hospital, commencing at 8:30 a.m. In addition, educational sessions and counseling will be offered.<\/p>\n

Members of the public are invited to take part in the blood sugar testing and are advised to arrive at the testing location at the Dominica China Friendship Hospital while fasting (no food consumption after midnight).<\/p>\n
