Communications Specialist of the Independent Regulatory Commission (IRC) Edona Jno Baptiste has announced that the IRC will hold a public consultation today to discuss the Dominica Electricity Services (DOMLEC) five-year investment plan and revenue requirement.<\/p>\n

The consultation forms part of the IRC’s ongoing Electricity Tariff\/Rate Review for DOMLEC and will take place at the Prevo Cinemall Executive Meeting Room from 3:30 PM.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe focus will be on DOMLEC\u2019s investment activities, and its revenue needed to pay all its costs,\u201d Jno Baptiste said.<\/p>\n

According to her, the ultimate objective is to seek stakeholders’ input and reach concensus regarding the determination on both matters.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf there are any comments or concerns raised IRC will address them before it makes its final decisions during the consultation period,\u201d she noted.<\/p>\n

Jno Baptiste continued, \u201cThis will bring the IRC closer to completing the tariff review process barring no objections from stakeholders on its decisions.\u201d<\/p>\n
