The major crime unit of the Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force (CDPF) has commenced investigation into the shooting death of 24-year-old Curtillia Charles of Silver Lake.<\/p>\n

According to reports from police sources, Charles and another woman, 27-year-old Curtisha Charles, were shot at Silver Lake at about 8:00 PM last night.<\/p>\n

Curtillia was pronounced dead at the Dominica-China Friendship Hospital (DCFH) at 10:08 PM whilst the other young lady was admitted to the hospital for medical attention.<\/p>\n

The police are seeking assistance from the public in the investigation of this homicide.<\/p>\n
