It will also establish the exact circumstances which led to the tragic crash.<\/p>\n<p>According to RCI, the investigation will be carried out by a highly specialized team from Air Transport of Paris, which at the time of publication was on its way to Martinique, and the Brigade of Gendarmerie of the Air Transport of Lamentin.<\/p>\n<p>The plane departed Douglas-Charles Airport at 3:46 p.m. on Sunday, January 26th, 2025 and was en route to Martinique when it crashed in mountains near the village of La Plaine. The wreckage was spotted on Monday afternoon with no signs of life. Since the area is difficult to access, attempts to reach it will begin on Tuesday with specialized teams from the Martinique Fire Brigade (SIS972).<\/p>\n<p>The names of the victims of the crash have been made public by the Prosecutor. They are pilot \u00a0Jean-Benoit A. (23), co-pilot Marving BELIZON(41), Kylian BESUBE (23), and Marcelline MARTINON (25).<\/p>\n<p>RCI reported that in agreement with the judicial authorities, emergency psychological assistance will be put in place for the families of the victims from Tuesday (January 28).<\/p>\n<p>According to the dictionary, a judicial investigation is &#8220;a formal legal investigation conducted into a matter of public concern by a judge, appointed by the government.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>In law, involuntary manslaughter is used to refer to the unintentional killing of a person through gross negligence or recklessness.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Authorities in Martinique have opened a judicial investigation of involuntary manslaughter into a plane crash in Dominica that took the lives of four French nationals.
