The inaugural Food for Lunch webinar of 2025 will center on the topic of water management in agriculture, taking place on Friday, February 28.<\/p>\n
The CARICOM Secretariat is teaming up with the Caribbean Water and Wastewater Association (CWWA) to present this one-hour online event, themed “Exploring Sustainable Water Management Practices in the Caribbean \u2013 An Agriculture and Food Security Perspective.”<\/p>\n
Sector experts, along with representatives from CWWA and The University of the West Indies, will engage in discussions surrounding this critical matter.<\/p>\n
This webinar series is part of the initiatives organized by the CARICOM Secretariat aimed at enhancing food security in the region. It emphasizes the importance of sustainable agricultural practices as well as food and nutrition security within the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) and highlights the contributions of young agri-entrepreneurs, the private sector, experts, and policymakers.<\/p>\n
