Adama Shillingford of Stockfarm and her 14-year-old daughter have been granted bail in the amount of $10,000 each following their arrest and charges stemming from an incident that occurred at River Bank in Roseau on Friday, April 4, 2025.<\/p>\n

A viral video showed an altercation involving students, during which one student threw a liquid substance in another\u2019s face.<\/p>\n

Shillingford appeared before Magistrate Hanson Valerie at the Roseau Magistrate\u2019s Court on Monday, April 7, 2025. She is accused of battery on a minor, assault on a minor for splashing a liquid substance (alkali) into the eyes of the victim, possession of a black handle silver-blade knife, and aiding and abetting her teenage daughter in allegedly assisting with the act.<\/p>\n

Shillingford, who had pleaded guilty to the charge of possession of an offensive weapon, changed her plea to not guilty on all four charges after consultation with her attorney Zena Moore Dyer.<\/p>\n

As part of her bail conditions, Shillingford must report to the Roseau Police Station once a week.<\/p>\n

The case has been adjourned to July 18, 2025.<\/p>\n
