The RayAsta Foundation has announced the upcoming graduation ceremony for their Supervisors\u2019 Caregiver Training program.<\/p>\n
A press statement from the organization shared that the event is scheduled for Monday, June 16, at the Dominica State College, Upper Campus, Room BC04. This program, said the Foundation, is notable as the first of its kind to prepare caregivers with the skills necessary to support stroke patients within the community. Participants will be trained not only to provide care but also to set goals and targets to support patients\u2019 recovery and mobility rebuilding.<\/p>\n
\u201cWatching our participants complete this second phase of training is a clear reflection of their dedication and drive to strengthen both their personal expertise and the level of care available to patients in Dominica,” Jennifer Astaphan, Chair of the RayAsta Foundation, expressed.<\/p>\n
“This program has not only provided them with vital tools for supporting stroke survivors, but has also sparked a renewed passion for delivering high-quality care. Their success marks an important stride in advancing healthcare in Dominica, and I\u2019m incredibly proud of their accomplishment. It serves as a powerful symbol of hope for those affected by stroke,” she added.<\/p>\n
Key highlights of the Closing Ceremony include:<\/p>\n
– Certificate Presentation: Participants will receive certificates recognizing their successful completion of the program and their readiness to apply their skills professionally. Ms. Trudy Christian, Officer in Charge at Dominica State College, will present the certificates.<\/p>\n
– Testimonials: Participants will share insights and reflections from their experience in the training program.<\/p>\n
– Guest Speaker: Mrs. Jennifer Astaphan, Chairman of the RayAsta Foundation,\u00a0 will deliver a motivational speech to the graduates.<\/p>\n
The RayAsta Foundation Caregiver Stroke Training was conducted in partnership with the Dominica State College and the Dominica Dementia Foundation. The ten-week intensive course aimed to equip learners with essential skills and knowledge for caring for stroke patients.<\/p>\n
The RayAsta Foundation said that it remains committed to providing caregivers with ongoing training and professional development opportunities.<\/p>\n
