Emphasizing the resilience and strength of enslaved Africans who fought for their freedom, Roberts underscored the season\u2019s role in affirming Dominica\u2019s African identity through heritage, spirituality, and creativity.<\/p>\n<p>The Emancipation Season, observed annually in the lead-up to Emancipation Day, will feature a rich program of events aimed at celebrating and preserving Dominica\u2019s cultural traditions.<\/p>\n<div>\n<div class=\"p-2 flex items-top\">\n<div class=\"flex ml-16 text-md flex-col\">\n<p class=\"text-left whitespace-pre-wrap dark:text-gray-200\">&#8220;This year, the Emancipation Season will once again be marked by a variety of events that celebrate our rich cultural heritage.
