The charges stem from his possession of one Taurus G2 9mm pistol and 12 rounds of 9mm ammunition without a valid license.<\/p>\n<p>Odigie appeared before a magistrate&#8217;s court in Roseau today and pleaded guilty to the firearm and ammunition charges.<\/p>\n<p>The court imposed a fine of EC$10,000 on the firearms charge, with a default sentence of six months\u2019 imprisonment if the fine is not paid immediately. While no additional penalty was imposed for the ammunition charge, the court handed down a suspended sentence of three years\u2019 imprisonment.
