As an Olympic medalist, LaFond continues to serve as a source of national pride through her exceptional performances on the international stage, said the DAA via press release.<\/p>\n<p>Dennick Luke will participate in the 400-meter hurdles, earning his spot based on his university placement, which showcases the emerging talent of young athletes from Dominica.<\/p>\n<p>Treneese Hamilton will compete in the Shot Put, having gained her entry through an invitation extended by World Athletics.<\/p>\n<p>According to the DAA, this achievement marks a significant milestone for Dominica, as these athletes will carry the nation&#8217;s flag onto one of the sport\u2019s largest global platforms. Their involvement underscores their dedication and perseverance, as well as the ongoing development of athletic programs within the country.<\/p>\n<p>The DAA also expressed appreciation to the coaches, families, and supporters who have contributed significantly to preparing these athletes for this level of competition.
