A weak rain band from Hurricane Humberto is expected to affect the islands north of Dominica within the next 24 hours, with some of this activity possibly extending southwards near Dominica today. Combined with light winds and daytime heating, this could trigger isolated bursts of moderate to heavy showers and thunderstorms during the afternoon. People in areas prone to flooding, landslides and falling rocks, particularly in the north, are advised to remain alert and exercise extreme caution. Slight dust haze may also become evident this afternoon.<\/p>\n
Seas will be slight to moderate, with waves up to 3ft along the west coast and increasing to near 7ft along the east coast today.\u00a0Northerly ground swells generated by Hurricane Humberto are likely along western, northern, and eastern coastal waters. A High Surf Advisory is in effect.
