Dominica’s nature resort, Jungle Bay, has received the esteemed title of Caribbean’s Leading Retreat 2025 at the World Travel Awards (WTA) Caribbean & North America Gala Ceremony, which took place in St. Lucia over the weekend.<\/p>\n
Located on approximately 20 acres of lush terrain overlooking the Soufri\u00e8re-Scotts Head Marine Reserve, Jungle Bay is billed as eco-luxury, wellness, and community-driven tourism. Though offering 89 accommodations with luxurious amenities including\u00a0 ‘adventure, spa pampering, wellness, Yoga, gourmet cuisine, local culture and history,” as a highlight, the group also prides itself on “sustainable design with community participation.” It also reportedly employs local staff and serves produce from its own gardens.<\/p>\n
A\u00a0 media statement from the company quoted General Manager, Marie Hubbard, as saying, “We are thrilled to receive this recognition, which is a testament to our team’s dedication to providing an exceptional guest experience.”<\/p>\n
The team also wrote that Hubbard’s statement reflects the resort’s commitment to delivering high-quality services and facilities that meet the evolving needs of\u00a0 “travelers seeking both rejuvenation and discovery.”<\/p>\n
