From Tuesday, October 14, 2025, through Friday, October 17, 2025, the Honourable Mr. Justice Winston Anderson, President of the Caribbean Court of Justice (CCJ), will be in the Cooperative Republic of Guyana for a series of official engagements. CCJ indicated in a statement that one of the key events during his visit will be the swearing-in ceremony of the Honourable Mr. Justice Arif Bulkan.<\/p>\n

According to the release, Mr. Justice Bulkan, a Guyanese national, is set to take the oath as a Judge of the CCJ on Thursday, October 16, 2025. The ceremony will be officiated by His Excellency, Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali, President of Guyana, and will take place at the Office of the President.<\/p>\n

In addition to the swearing-in, President Anderson’s itinerary includes courtesy visits to several prominent officials and representatives. These include discussions with His Excellency, President Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali; the Acting Chancellor of the Judiciary, Honourable Madame Justice Roxane George; Attorney General and Minister of Legal Affairs, Honourable Mohabir Anil Nandlall, SC, MP; Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Secretary-General Dr. Carla N.
