Moisture and instability trailing a tropical wave are expected to linger across the area this afternoon. Expect mostly cloudy skies with some scattered showers and possible isolated thunderstorms. A reduction in moisture levels is expected tonight. People in areas prone to flooding, landslides and falling rocks should remain alert and exercise caution. Breezy conditions are expected to continue during the period.<\/p>\n

A slight concentration of dust haze is expected to continue moving across the area this afternoon and tonight. People with respiratory sensitivities are advised to take the necessary precautions to avoid complications.<\/p>\n

Seas will be moderate to rough during the next 12 to 24 hours, with wave heights decreasing to near 5 ft along the west coast and maintaining near 10 ft in open water along the east coast. Additionally, northerly swells and increased wave periods could result in ground swells. As a result, a High Surf Advisory and a Small Craft Warning for above-normal seas and high winds are in effect. Small craft operators should remain alert and exercise caution.
