Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem revealed on Monday via a post on X that she had just met with the U.S. President and is now advising a comprehensive travel ban on every country that has been contributing to the influx of what she labelled as criminals, parasites, and individuals with a sense of entitlement.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am recommending a full travel ban on every damn country that\u2019s been flooding our nation with killers, leeches, and entitlement junkies,\u201d she stated.<\/p>\n
Earlier this summer, President Trump announced a new travel restriction targeting 19 countries, representing an intensification of his immigration enforcement efforts within the United States. The U.S. government was already in the process of exploring an expansion of the June 2025 travel ban to encompass 36 more countries, 24 of which are in sub-Saharan Africa. This information was leaked to the media via the Associated Press. According to a report from The Washington Post, the State Department had dispatched a diplomatic cable in June requesting that embassies and consulates in these nations evaluate whether their governments could improve travel documentation for their citizens and address the status of nationals residing illegally in the U.S.<\/p>\n
