Photo credit: dancehallusa.com<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Mira Entertainment this afternoon officially launched the latest edition of its \u2018Classics Concert Series\u2019, the upcoming Barrington Levy Classic Concert carded for July 30th 2011.<\/p>\n<p>The launch was held at the headquarters of chief sponsor Digicel.<\/p>\n<p>The concert will feature International Recording Dancehall\/Reggae Artist Barrington Levy, the man behind hits like \u201cToo Experienced\u201d and \u201cEverybody Must Work\u201d and will be held at Krazy Koconuts.<\/p>\n<p>Managing Director of Mira Entertainment, Miguel \u2018Doctor\u2019 Labadie said that the event targets the more mature party patrons in Dominica.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe adult patrons were sometimes being neglected, apart from the usual calypso shows that they get during the season, one or two at Creole Festival and [a few] plays, they were sort of being left in the dark. And I felt the need to cater to the mature patrons and invite on an annual basis, an artist who has earned legendary and iconic status,\u201d Labadie said.<\/p>\n<p>Representing Digicel, in her capacity as Marketing Executive, Calvia Timothy believes that the telecommunications company\u2019s partnering with Mira Entertainment will be on that will be a great success, in keeping with the trend of past such partnerships.<\/p>\n<p>Timothy admits, \u201cToday, We at Digicel are very pleased to partner with Mira Entertainment to put together an exciting show. Previously, we have partnered with [them] to bring to you the Eric Donaldson show, which has proven to be a huge success to those who attended.
