On Wednesday,\u00a0 January 21,\u00a0 2026,\u00a0 community leaders, residents, business owners, the religious community in Bellvue Chopin, and professionals joined police officers from the Bellevue area to chart the way forward for a safer village.<\/p>\n

According to an announcement from the Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force (CDPF), during the meeting, issues affecting the village were also raised and openly discussed, allowing residents to voice their concerns and work toward real, practical solutions.<\/p>\n

\u201cPowerful stories were shared, and a strong commitment was made to work together,\u201d the announcement said. \u201cFrom this historic meeting, a Core Committee and Neighborhood Watch Group were formed \u2014 partnering closely with the police to protect and uplift the community.\u201d<\/p>\n

Officials added that the initiative proves that the Community Policing Program is “making a real impact across Dominica”.<\/p>\n
