\"\"Islam is the most misunderstood way of life in the world. September 11th attack on the World Trade Center compounded the situation that the zionist media has stepped up their propaganda against this simplistic, flexible and revolutionary lifestyle which brings balance, peace and order to the human being. Allah is simply the arabic way of refering to the Most High. Islam is an arabic word which means willful submission to the will of Allah. A muslim is a person who willfully submits to the will of Allah. Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the final messenger and prophet of Allah after our beloved messiah Eesa\/Yehsua\u00a0 the son of Mary (peace be upon him). In this article we will address 7 misconceptions about Allah.<\/p>\n

The existence of all things prove that Allah exists. Allah says in the Holy Quran, the perfect guidance for mankind, \u201cWere they created by nothing, or were they themselves the creators? Or did they create the heavens and the earth? No, they have no firm belief.\u201d (Holy Quran 52:35-36). The Holy Quran is filled with basic reason and common sense that it does not take a \u201crocket scientist\u201d to see the logic in the verse of the Holy Quran.<\/p>\n

Secondly, how does one explain the complexities from an atom which is the smallest molecule known to man to the milky way, planets and stars far away in space? How can a human being who sees cars as small as ants when approaching an island from a plane deny, as well as, an awesome creator who created molecules so small that we need an electron microscope to see them? It is only reasonable that there must be an originator of all things.<\/p>\n

One must be sure that Allah is a reality. One can also be sure by reflecting on the signs within His creation. Just as tracks along the Waitikubuli trail or on the Coconut Beach at Portsmouth points toward a person who had previously travelled there before, Allah\u2019s signs within the creation point to the Most Wise Creator. Allah teaches us in the Holy Quran, \u201cAnd upon the earth are signs visible to all who have faith with certainty, just as there are signs within your own selves. Will you not then see?\u201d (Holy Quran 51:20-21).<\/p>\n

Also, dear reader the very material you are reading right now, how do you explain the lens of your eyes accommodating to read this article right now? Could this be chance, natural selection or independent evolution? Anyone with insight and wisdom will see that the works of pseudo-intellectuals like the atheists, agnostics and \u201ccompany limited\u201d are as weak as a spider web.<\/p>\n

Some inquire why are people so serious about Allah or a supreme being. Allah says in His exalted book, \u201cSurely, all that is in the heavens and the earth belongs to Allah. Certainly, Allah\u2019s promise is true but most of them know not.\u201d (Holy Quran 10:55)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 .<\/p>\n

One needs to be serious about Allah, this is not a laughing matter, that is why one would see muslims engaged in the remembrance of Allah (Glory be to Him, the Most High). It is baseless to believe that after one dies this is the end of his fate. Consider one who has raped a five year old girl then kills himself, where is the justice? Do you think that evil people will easily escape accountability? If that was true, do you know the implications of holding such a view? The human conscience would be in further oblivion, there would be no justice for the oppressed. Therefore, no wise person would make mockery of Allah. One would take Him seriously.<\/p>\n

Others suggest why do we need \u201ca god\u201d to interfere in our lives, allowing and prohibiting things when we can decide for ourselves. This is the philosophy of relativism which is very dangerous for the human being. In Dominica, the age of consent is 16, whereas, the age of consent in France is 15 and China is 14. Let\u2019s suppose one went to study in China and he marries his 14 year old chinese girl whom he loves so much, the state allowed it, they both have their marital certificate; in China this is not statutory rape, it is perfectly normal, however, the couple decided to move back to Dominica to settle for the rest of their lives.<\/p>\n

Simply due to changing geographical location the man is accused of statutory rape. He will be looked on as a pedophille and all the derogatory names one can think of. Imagine this situation O reader and see how absurd this is. How can man dictate what age a man and woman should marry or dictate laws for that matter? Confusion isn\u2019t it? Thus, Allah is the sole law giver as He says, \u201cSay: \u2018Do you not see what Allah has sent down to you for sustenance? You hae made of it some things lawful and some things unlawful.\u2019 Say (to them O Muhammad): \u2018Has Allah permitted you, or do you invent a lie against Allah?\u2019\u201d (Holy Quran 10:59)<\/p>\n

We should not follow as well as allow mankind to decide what is best for them. Allah says, \u201cIf you obey most of those on earth, they will mislead you far away from Allah\u2019s path. They follow nothing but conjecture, and they do nothing but lie.\u201d (Holy Quran 6:116). If you look at the state of man, you see so many ideologies, sects, religions etc. Can you imagine a world without any guidance from a divine source? Allah has sent many prophets yet due to man\u2019s stubborness and hardness of his heart he is in debauchery. Thus, democracy is a failed way. One time homosexuality is an abomination, today it is man\u2019s \u201cfundamental\u201d right to \u201cconsent\u201d to same sex practices. Isn\u2019t that pure contradiction?<\/p>\n

Allah could be reached through many different ways some say. Allah says, \u201cVerily, this is my straight path, so follow it, and follow not other paths, for they will separate you way from His path. This He has ordained for you that you may become of those who fear and obey Him.\u201d (Holy Quran 6:153). If one holds this idea of approaching any path to Allah as he wishes, can I use satan as an intermediary to get to Allah? Since many practices result in these different approaches, can all these approaches be correct? Any sane person would see this idea is illogical.<\/p>\n

We hear the old saying, \u201cMan dat write dem book wee.\u201d They use this as a pretext to reject the guidance of Allah. Allah teaches in the Holy Quran, \u201cWhen our verses are recited to them they say: \u2018We have heard this; if we wish we can say the like of this. This is nothing but tales of the ancient.\u201d (Holy Quran 8:31). When the verse is shown to women regarding the veil (hijab) both from the bible and the Holy Quran they say, \u201cIs modern time, dat was their cul-cha. It too hot, is your heart dat count not de clothes. All dem people dat putting on all dat clothes is dey dat more nasty, underneath dey underneath.\u201d They conjure all these excuses to reject the guidance of Allah. Thus, Allah revealed these principles and laws to guide us to moral and spiritual elevation and enlightenment.<\/p>\n

In short, many people have grave misconceptions about Allah. Allah has given everyone a mind and conscience to seek the truth. Why when we prepare to travel we ensure all our documents are secured as well as in order, however, when it comes to our salvation we are neglectful?
