North Side FC secured a hard-earned 2\u20131 victory over Calibishie FC\u00a0in\u00a0Game #2 of the Wenham Sheppard Possie Cup (WSPC)\u00a0at the\u00a0Benjamin Park Playing Field, in a match played under very wet and challenging conditions.<\/p>\n
Persistent rain made the surface slippery throughout the contest, forcing both teams to adjust their play as they battled for control of the match.<\/p>\n
NorthSide FC took the lead after\u00a0Calibishie FC conceded an unfortunate own goal, with the difficult conditions contributing to the mishap on the slick surface.<\/p>\n
Calibishie FC responded positively and managed to equalize through\u00a0Ezechiel Mestor, who found the back of the net to bring his team level.<\/p>\n
