As part of its ongoing Community Policing Initiative, officers of the Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force participated in Literacy Day 2026 by engaging students in meaningful discussions about life, learning, and making positive choices.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Corporal George of the Castle Bruce Police Station interacted with the students, reminding them that their lives are precious gifts from God and that every day is an opportunity for learning, growth, and building a bright future.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
He encouraged the children to respect their teachers, focus on their education, and develop skills that will guide them toward success.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

During the session, Corporal George also used a creative story called \u201cThe Little Blue Seed\u201d to help children understand the beauty of life and growth.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Through the metaphor of a seed growing and breaking through the soil into sunlight, the students learned that life is a journey of strength, perseverance, and new beginnings.<\/div>\n

The presentation emphasized the importance of making good choices, staying on the right path, and trusting in God\u2019s guidance.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Students were also reminded that police officers are their friends and are always there to help whenever they feel scared or need assistance.<\/div>\n
