Police have confirmed that the investigation into the death of Everton Sabin, who resided at Bath Estate, has resulted in a murder charge instituted against the accused, Donald Michael Dorival, a male adult of Elmshall.<\/p>\n
He was taken before the Roseau Magistrate Court today, March 17, 2026, where the charge was read to him, and he was remanded in custody at the State Prison.<\/p>\n
Dorival\u00a0was\u00a0not required\u00a0to enter a\u00a0plea\u00a0since the charge of murder is an indictable offense.<\/p>\n
The matter was adjourned for the commencement of the preliminary inquiry on June\u00a0 29, 2026, at the Roseau Magistrate Court.<\/p>\n
Initial reports from the police indicate that Sabin was found lying on the ground at Elmshall with serious injuries on Saturday, March 14, 2026, and he was taken to the Dominica-China Friendship Hospital (DCFH) for medical attention, where he succumbed to his injuries the following day, Sunday, March 15, 2026.<\/p>\n
