Following the successful hosting of a National Rally in Grand Fond last month, the United Workers Party (UWP) will hold a national meeting in Layou from 6:30 PM on Saturday, March 21, 2026.<\/p>\n

Leader of the UWP, Dr. Thomson Fonataine, told DNO that the meeting will focus on the UWP plans to tackle the high cost of living in Dominica by highlighting its 10 Pillars to shared economic prosperity.<\/p>\n

“The meeting will also deal with the issue of the voter confirmation process,” he said.<\/p>\n

He also indicated that the meeting will draw supporters and well-wishers from across Dominica.<\/p>\n

Dr. Fontaine further shared that his party, \u201cis prepared to let the Dominican public know of their plans and strategies to rescue the economy and provide jobs and better opportunities to the youth and the general population.\u201d<\/p>\n
