Ian Pinard.<\/p>\n
Ian Pinard was a loyal servant of the Labour Party and a devoted son of the Soufriere Constituency. His contribution to national development, both in elected office and in executive leadership roles at Petro Caribe Dominica and the Dominica Air and Sea Ports Authority (DASPA), reflected a life committed to service, responsibility, and country.<\/p>\n
Beyond his titles and achievements, Ian will be remembered for his humility, his simplicity, and his deeply compassionate nature. He was a man who carried authority with quiet strength\u2014never seeking recognition, but always giving of himself. His warmth, his constant smile, and his genuine care for people left a lasting impression on all who encountered him.<\/p>\n
Ian had a special connection with the people of Soufriere. He walked with them, worked for them, and loved them. He also took a personal interest in mentoring young men in his community, not only providing opportunities for employment, but instilling values of discipline, respect, and purpose. That legacy will live on in the many lives he
\nhelped shape. The Dominica Labour Party recognizes this as a significant loss\u2014not only to our organization, but to the wider national community.<\/p>\n
Prime Minister and Political Leader of the Dominica Labour Party, Hon. Roosevelt Skerrit, stated: \u201cIan Pinard served with quiet strength, deep compassion, and an unwavering commitment to the people of Dominica. He was a humble servant whose impact was felt not only in the offices he held, but in the lives he touched. His legacy of service and humanity will endure.\u201d<\/p>\n
