The Dominica Water and Sewerage Company Limited (DOWASCO) has made significant progress on all four project sites under the Water Sector Strategic Development Project (WSSDP) meant to improve the water infrastructure in Grand Fond\/Morne Jaune, Calibishie, Castle Bruce, and Coulibistrie\/Morne Rachette\/Salisbury.<\/p>\n
According to a statement via the company\u2019s Facebook page, various challenges have affected the progress of works to date, including weather-related incidents, terrain, equipment, and administrative delays.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhile the project was expected to be completed at the end of March, a new completion date of September 30, 2026, has been requested, and approval is expected to be granted by the CDB shortly,\u201d the statement said.<\/p>\n
