Looked like heaven in the distance,\nBut the dark clouds proved otherwise.
\nIt was just an illusion,
\nTrying to confuse me,
\nTrap me,
\nTrick me,
\nInto falling.
\nFalling something deep,
\nNowhere close to sleep.<\/p>\n

Rather it awakens me,
\nOpens my eyes,
\nTo a whole new world,
\nOverwhelmed by the inevitable.
\nBeing pulled into a dilemma,
\nMarked by sweet words and blushing faces.
\nFeels more like an affiliation,
\nBut I can see the confrontation,
\nFollowed by endless retaliation,
\nCutting stares,
\nAnd dreadful despair.<\/p>\n
But after all is said and done,
\nMy heart will go on,
