The CDPF is investigating a suspected homicide arising from an incident that occurred on Hanover Street, \u00a0Roseau, \u00a0during the early hours of Monday, June 1, 2026.<\/p>\n

Preliminary investigation indicates that Trevor Viville, a 56-year-old male of Boetica who resided at River Street, Roseau, was allegedly involved in an altercation with another individual at approximately 2:45 AM on Monday, June 1, 2026, on Hanover Street, Roseau, when he reportedly sustained an injury.<\/p>\n

Viville was transported to the Accident and Emergency Department of the Dominica-China Friendship Hospital that morning, and later that day he was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit for medical attention, where he was subsequently examined and pronounced dead by a medical doctor on Tuesday,\u00a0 June 2, 2026.<\/p>\n

The body is being kept at a funeral home pending an autopsy.<\/p>\n

One man has been apprehended and is in police custody on suspicion of murder.<\/p>\n

The CDPF extended condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
