The much talked about Act will make provisions for lawyers who bring the profession into disrepute to be disciplined.<\/p>\n
Roberts told the opening of the new law year Tuesday that the passage of the bill in Parliament is long overdue.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe bill has had a first reading in Parliament twice. We look forward to another first reading and pray that this time it will be read again and again. We hope that the next first reading will be succeeded by the second and the third,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
She said the Bar Association have heard many complaints being made against lawyers.<\/p>\n
