The people of that area have been represented in Parliament by Hon. Reginald Austrie, Minister for Lands, Housing, Settlement and Water Resource management.<\/p>\n<p>The DLP Annual Awards Ceremony honours 32 of its members for their service to the Party. 21 members receive constituency awards. Five members receive zonal awards for service to the Labour Women\u2019s Organization (LWO), DLP\u2019s woman\u2019s arm and six for service to the Labour Youth Organization (LYO), DLP\u2019s youth arm. Awardees are presented by DLP\u2019s Representatives and Senators.<\/p>\n<p>DLP Political Leader, Hon. Roosevelt Skerrit, Prime Minister of Dominica will address the ceremony.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s Awards Ceremony highlights the maturity of the Dominica Labour Party \u2014 56 years old, having been launched on the steps of the Dominica Trades Union Hall in Roseau in 1955.
