Frederick<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Relatives, friends and well-wishers of Randy Frederick, of the Carib Territory, are seeking assistance to meet expenses associated with an emergency surgery.<\/p>\n

Frederick’s plight came to national focus when local media house Marpin 2k4 visited his home and interviewed his mother about his condition. She said that he has been in constant pain since a tumor was discovered in his head in March 2010.<\/p>\n

The tumor has Frederick, 19, in constant pain and his condition has worsened within the last week. After many painful days at the Princess Margeret Hospital he is expected to be flown to Barbados today after doctors agreed that emergency surgery is necessary.<\/p>\n

With the assistance of Ross University School of Medicine, the National Youth Council and other agencies, Frederick and his family have been able to raise some funds to meet the costs associated with the surgery. However, more is needed.<\/p>\n

In light of this, a call is being made to the Dominican public to rally around this young man and his family and support his cause. Anyone interested in assisting should call 1-767-317-4944 or 1-767-315-5892.<\/p>\n

An account has been setup to deal with Frederick\u2019s additional expenses while in Barbados.<\/p>\n
