SOMETIMES WE FAIL<\/strong><\/p>\n Sometimes we fail as parents,<\/p>\n To see the beauty of our children<\/p>\n Sometimes we fail as parents,<\/p>\n To see how wonderful they are<\/p>\n Sometimes we fail as parents,<\/p>\n To tell them how lovely they are.<\/p>\n Instead we compare,<\/p>\n We criticize,<\/p>\n We wish they were,<\/p>\n We see the negatives<\/p>\n Like the positive doesn\u2019t exist.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n But this mother\u2019s day<\/p>\n I take the spotlight off me<\/p>\n And instead acknowledge you,<\/p>\n You my children,<\/p>\n To tell you<\/p>\n How much I love you,<\/p>\n To tell you<\/p>\n How wonderful you are,<\/p>\n To tell you<\/p>\n How proud I am of you,<\/p>\n To tell you my love has no nepotism<\/p>\n And most of all to tell you<\/p>\n How blessed I am to have children like you.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n I love you dearly.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"This poem is written by a mother especially to her children, inspired she says, by the Almighty Father.
