The court heard that Padmoore Valmond on two separate occasions in March threatened to kill his aunt Marietta Valmond.<\/p>\n
He first entered her home where she was with her family, grabbed her, punched her several times and told her he was going to kill her.<\/p>\n
She reported the matter to the police.<\/p>\n
However Valmond returned a few days later again under the influence of alcohol, this time carrying a coconut bat.<\/p>\n
He is reported to have demanded ice and when she refused to grant the request he threatened to kill her, chasing her in the yard.<\/p>\n
The court heard that he then went to his home, got a cutlass and chased Marietta and her husband who struck him with a piece of stick.<\/p>\n
Not satisfied, he pelted stones at them, and even went into the home and took Valmond\u2019s husband t-shirt and tore it.<\/p>\n
The police were called and when arrested he said, \u201cI was drunk and that\u2019s why I behaved so.\u201d<\/p>\n
He was slapped with charges of threats, intimidation, battery, malicious damage and battery on a female.<\/p>\n
Valmond now has to pay a fine of\u00a0 EC$2,025.00.<\/p>\n
He could end up in jail for about 8 months if he doesn\u2019t pay up on time.<\/p>\n
He was told that his behavior was \u201cinexcusable\u201d and that if he can\u2019t control himself when he drinks he should desist from doing so.<\/p>\n
