\nHave they lost their love for me?
\nHave they lost their courage to fight?
\nI am in shackles, I need to be set free.
\nDominica cries<\/p>\n

There are those who are bent to do evil without ceasing,
\nTo bring destruction to my name,
\nHurting my own people and visitors alike,
\nI plead with you from crimes refrain.
\nDominica cries<\/p>\n

Many of my young minds seem lost indeed,
\nHelp them find their way back to me,
\nBreaking those chains of bondage that oppress them,
\nFrom their oppression set them free.
\nDominica cries<\/p>\n

Have my children lost their joy, focus, energy, spontaneity and vibrancy?
\nHave they forgotten that love unifies and connects everything?
\nWake up my children, rise from your slumber,
\nAnd feel the joy that true love can bring.
\nDominica cries<\/p>\n

In the darkness of midnight,
\nWhen no one seems to care,
\nAnd evil roams around us all,
\nAnd fill my citizens with fear.
\nDominica cries<\/p>\n

Lord of all nations far and wide help my people see,
\nMay they understand their tasks in Life,
\nMay they seek to do what\u2019s right,
\nAnd end all bitter strife.
\nDominica cries<\/p>\n

When will we ever learn?
\nWhen will they have the wisdom to discern?<\/p>\n

As the rain drops from the sky,
\nSo are the tears of Dominica\u2019s cry.
