Like a normal couple we have our ups and downs, our break ups and makeups but lately I have been quite frustrated with the lack of privacy and personal time that I receive with him due to the fact that his so called “Dawg” is always over.<\/p>\n
We never get time to ourselves, he’s always hovering around, most times I want to get intimate or just have some alone time but I cannot because of this always appearing ‘dawg’.<\/p>\n
I have no problems with that friend whatsoever all I need is just a little space and privacy with my boyfriend.<\/p>\n
I have spoken to my boyfriend about that problem numerous times, but all he keeps saying he will talk to him. I think my boyfriend is afraid that he will lose his friend if he asks for some privacy.<\/p>\n
But this situation is driving me MAD!!! I just cant take it anymore.<\/p>\n

If your boyfriend is afraid to talk to his ‘dawg’ it appears that you will have to take the bull by the horns. Have a chat with the ‘dawg’ and tell him how you feel and that should be able to take care of things. Being straightforward is the only way you can solve this problem<\/p>\n
On the other hand you need to also have a chat with your boyfriend. You need to know what are his priorities and where you stand in a long term relationship with him. While friends are important, the relationship also needs time to grow and develop. It certainly won’t grow if a ‘dawg’ is hanging around all the time.<\/p>\n
On a side note, this whole thing about men calling each other ‘dawg’ sounds so childish and immature to me.\u00a0 Probably something your boyfriend needs to look into.
