The doctor also mentioned that she noticed a wound above the dead man&#8217;s right eye.<\/p>\n<p>Two other witnesses who claimed to be on the scene at the time of the incident took to the witness stand. Randy Phillip and Khadijah Peter of Portsmouth sobbed uncontrollably in court as they recalled the events of that night.<\/p>\n<p>Phillip told the court that he had met with the deceased after returning from a party. Peter on the other hand stated that she was with the deceased outside of his home talking with him and some other friends.\u00a0 Both parties became emotional while explaining to the court that they heard a loud explosion that sounded like a fire cracker and within seconds they saw Christopher lying on the ground in his own blood.<\/p>\n<p>In cross examination both parties denied that Valentine and Christopher were good friends.<\/p>\n<p>Three\u00a0 more witnesses will take the stand Wednesday morning.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Attorney at law Michael Bruney was one of five witnesses who testified in the manslaughter trial against Portsmouth resident Stebin Valentine.
