Eustace Henry, Kenroy Paul<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Kenroy Paul and Eustace Henry, who were charged with the offense of possession of 30,000 grams of cocaine, were granted bail in the sum of $100,000 when they appeared in a Roseau magistrate court on Thursday.<\/p>\n

The presiding Magistrate was Candia George.<\/p>\n

Conroy Paul, father of\u00a0 Kenroy Paul and neighbor of Eustace Henry, stood as surety for both.<\/p>\n

Paul and Henry are charged with the offence of possession of 30,000 grams of cocaine, possession with intent to supply, conspiracy to import cocaine into the commonwealth of Dominica, and importing cocaine into the commonwealth of Dominica.<\/p>\n

New charges were brought against them on Tuesday by the Customs authority some of which included \u2018departing from the vicinity of the vessel on arrival at a place other than a notified place without the consent of the proper officer\u2019, and for \u2018being knowingly concerned in a fraudulent evasion of a restriction in force with respect to importation of 30,000 grams of cocaine\u2019.<\/p>\n

The accused are jointly charged with Jeremiah Challenger of Bath Estate, Omari Mussington of St. Martin, Wendel Laurencin of St. Lucia and Nigel Dublin of Stockfarm.<\/p>\n

The men are to report to the Portsmouth police station three times a week, surrender all travel documents, stay away from prosecution witnesses in the matter and to be on good behaviour while on bail.<\/p>\n

Wayne Norde along with Bernadette Lambert represented both defendants.<\/p>\n

They are to reappear in court in September.<\/p>\n
