Weather forecasters are keeping a close eye on a tropical wave accompanied by a weak area of low pressure located in the Central Atlantic.<\/p>\n

The wave on Tuesday morning was located near 9\u00b0N 41\u00b0W, halfway between the Lesser Antilles and the coast of Africa, and it has the potential to gain sufficient structure to become a tropical storm during the next few days, the forecasters say.<\/p>\n

The system is moving westward at 10 – 15 mph and will reach the Lesser Antilles by the end of the week or the first part of the weekend.<\/p>\n
