A tropical storm watch has been issued for Dominica as an area of low pressure located about 810 miles east of the Windward Islands is now a tropical depression.<\/p>\n

According to the Met Office the depression is moving towards the west north west near 18 mph with maximum sustained winds near 35 mph.<\/p>\n

Some strengthening is forecasted and the depression could become a tropical storm by Wednesday night or Thursday morning.<\/p>\n

On the forecast track, this system is expected near Dominica by late Friday into Saturday.<\/p>\n

Dominicans are asked to keep a close eye on this weather system and begin to take precautionary measures in preparation for its arrival.<\/p>\n
