The storm over the Eastern Caribbean on Friday morning<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The general public is asked to note that the Tropical Storm warning for Dominica has been DISCONTINUED.<\/p>\n

Tropical Storm Ernesto is now located 140 miles south west of Dominica and moving to the west.<\/p>\n

At 11am, the center of Tropical Storm Ernesto was located near Latitude 13.7North Longitude 62.3West moving towards the west near 21mph.<\/p>\n

This general motion is expected to continue during the next couple of days. On the forecast track, Ernesto will be moving across the Eastern and Central Caribbean Sea during the next 48 hours.<\/p>\n

Maximum sustained winds are near 50mph with higher gusts.<\/p>\n

Residents are asked to note that although the warnings have been discontinued, rain bands in the system over and close to Dominica will continue to produce moderate showers and gusty winds.<\/p>\n

Residents should move around with caution and look out for possible rock falls.<\/p>\n

Also, interests on the west coast should take precaution as the system could generate high sea swells on entering the Caribbean Sea.<\/p>\n
