Phillip pleaded guilty to receiving one gasket seal, four spark plugs and one injector from Ian \u201cCameo\u201d Scotland and paying him $5.00 for the items. Scotland, who had appeared in the court moments prior to Phillip, pleaded guilty to stealing the items from his mother.<\/p>\n
Phillip explained to the court that he saw Scotland with the items and he realised that it must have been a family member\u2019s property since according to him Scotland has a habit of stealing.<\/p>\n
He said he took the items from Scotland and put them in his garage so that he would be able to give it back to Scotland\u2019s family when they asked for it. In addition he gave Scotland $5.00 for the items because he asked for it.<\/p>\n
Although he had one matter of a similar nature in the past, Magistrate George also gave him a chance since he did not waste the court\u2019s time and cooperated fully with the police.<\/p>\n
