\"\"Ronald Evans of Delices could go to jail for three months if he fails to pay a $1,000 fine by December 31, 2012.<\/p>\n

Evans pleaded guilty in court on Monday to a charge of using a knife to intimidate his stepfather in his garden. His statement to the police following the incident was \u201cOfficer I cannot get a wife.\u201d<\/p>\n

The prosecution told the court that Evans seems to have some psychological issues. According to Evans, he said that to the police ‘just so’, explaining to the court that the real reason for his action was that someone had stolen his produce and he was \u201cfrustrated\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cCalm yourself, learn to treat people with respect and watch how you deal with people,\u201d presiding Magistrate Candia Carette George admonished the Delices resident.<\/p>\n

In another matter, Dwayne Lugay of Loubiere pleaded guilty to battery on police and was fined $600.00 to be paid by December 31, 2012 or risk going to jail for 3 months. The incident happened on October 5, at Krazy Koconuts.<\/p>\n

Prince Charles Austrie of Newtown pleaded not guilty to charges of threats, battery, resisting arrest and intimidation on police and was granted bail of EC$5,000.00.<\/p>\n

The incident also happened on October 5, 2012. The matter is set to go to trial on March 18, 2013. As part of his bail conditions, Austrie is to report every Monday at the Roseau Police station.<\/p>\n

He is represented by Joshua Francis.<\/p>\n

Brian Dorival who is charged with causing the death of Griffin Harry by dangerous driving at Massacre on October 31, 2011, was granted bail of EC$100,000.00.<\/p>\n

He is represented by Joshua Francis and Dorival is next scheduled to appear in court on April 25, 2013.<\/p>\n
