The Monetary Council comprises of the Ministers with responsibility for Finance.<\/p>\n<p>On Friday November 23, the 56th Meeting of the OECS Authority will be convened.\u00a0 This meeting will include the Business Session which will be followed by the Caucus of the OECS Heads of Government.\u00a0 The decisions taken at that meeting will be communicated via a press conference following the adjournment of the meeting.<\/p>\n<p>A meeting for the Business Community of the OECS will also be convened on Friday Nov 23.\u00a0 The outcome of this meeting will be discussed with the Heads of Government that same day at Rosalie.<\/p>\n<p>It is expected that, among other matters, the 56th Meeting of the OECS Authority will outline the way forward towards the implementation of the Revised Treaty of Basseterre, consider applications for membership of the OECS, establish the Economic Affairs Council and engage the Business Sector from across the region.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The 56th Meeting of the OECS Authority is scheduled for November 22 and 23 2012, at the Rosalie Bay Resort.
