This feature has been introduced to provide the opportunity for readers to share with us photographs and short videos that depict situations, events, activities which they may find disturbing, enlightening, entertaining, amazing, inspiring…unusual and the list of adjectives go on. Simply put, the content of the photo or video should be interesting enough to want to share it with other DNO readers.<\/p>\n

The first edition featured a photograph of a situation which readers generally found to be disturbing. This week’s submission is a video which the contributor thinks is very impressive. A future submission could be of some local activity\/deed which the sender thinks deserves some praise or recognition. So the possibilities for the “CHECK THIS OUT” feature are endless and all submissions do not always have to be things Dominican. They could originate in any part of the world. After all, cliches aside, we do live in a global village!<\/p>\n
