The emotion is deep
\nAnd the scar is lasting
\nA mind bent
\nA heart collapsing<\/p>\n

I loved for the time
\nAnd endured the fight
\nBut there is darkness
\nFar beyond the light<\/p>\n

I’ll hold dear
\nWhat this heart felt
\nBut no longer shall
\nMy soul melt<\/p>\n

Years I’ve grown
\nWith thoughts of you
\nBut too much of me
