Petro Caribe along with 17 other companies on Friday hosted an expo at the Public Service Union as part of the activities for Health and Safety Month. under the theme \u201cSafety is an obligation not an option\u201d.<\/p>\n

The event, which aims to highlight issues of safety and health on the island,\u00a0 is held under the theme “Safety is an Obligation, not and Option” and is expected to become an annual one.<\/p>\n

Sales and Marketing manager of Petro Caribe Dominica, Ian Pinard, said the companies have come on board to showcase their various products and services on health and safety.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe exposition is a big success thus far so it is something that we are going to continue doing, we expect to have more partners involved next year in the Health and Safety Month,\u201d Pinard said.<\/p>\n

He added that the expo is having a big impact since members of the public has been coming to view the products being offered and he hoped that it would get them in going to the various companies and experiencing what they have to offer.<\/p>\n

Some of the companies taking part are Sign Man, The Glam, National Drug Prevention Unit, Optipharm Inc., Red Cross, Fire and Ambulance Service, Dominica Police Force, All Saints University, J Astaphans and Co., Dominica Solid Waste Management, Jolly\u2019s Pharmacy, Fresh Vitamins, Disaster Management Office, McLawrence\u00a0 Consultant Services Inc., Ezee Pharmacy, Petro Caribe and Omega Driving from St Lucia.<\/p>\n

This is the second time that Petro Caribe is observing Health and Safety Month.<\/p>\n
