Beautiful princess, so happy to see the culture alive in the young ones. “.Happy Independence Dominicans”. Enjoy and be safe.
What does powder on the neck mean? You people are too ridiculous. What else can it mean than her mother wants her to keep cool in a hot climate?

hi cuteeee Daeja
If you mothers knew what that powder on the neck represents allu would not powder up your children like that!
Nice outfit lil girl.
so how about you just tell us what it means??!!!!! because I’ve always seen people putting powder on their kids up to the neck…instead of coming and make a comment that helps non of us!!!….smh
You have a point. Powder on the neck and chest is not a healthy habit. It puts strain on the respiratory track and can contribute to respiratory illnesses like asthma etc. Ridic could have made the comment in a friendlier manner. Everything does not have to be so negative. Powder on the neck and chest is a tropical custom and is not seem in temperate regions like the US and Canada.
Powder on the neck: Common practice by prostitutes!!!
The prostitutes after they have taken their baths they would use powder on their neck as an indication that they were fresh and ready for action!
Find some other place for your stupid comment….learn time and place!!!!
The little girl looks lovely in her Jupe, the powder under her neck has nothing to do with anything….stop looking for a reason to be negative
