so beautifulll
The Lord has blessed us with a beautiful country like Dominica and there are alot of places in DA still awaiting to explore.
Yes! the photograph is lovely.Question, are there a lot of Methodist churches in Dominica?i would like to know.So when i visit i can worship there.
Liz, I did not mean anything matter as far as the age of the Church is concern: I am simply noting history!
You know I do not care how many thumbs down those Wesley people give to me you know; they always fighting me: you read Wesley Woman where she wrote Canadian ………….., well just in case you are wondering what she intended to say, I will tell you.
She is calling me; kid Francisco Telemaque “Canadian Moomoo!”
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah!
You see that is what they called my late father, so now that he is dead, they tag me Canadian Moomoo too.
As if to say like father like son!
Who invented that name?
The one and only Rockson Robin a relative of ours who lived next door to my father; he claimed that my dad went to Canada, and got lost for days, and could not find his way home oui!
So because of that he is a moomoo, whatever that means.
What can I say, if you are from Wesley, eventually you will be called by some name that your parents did not give to you.
Fact is my dad never lived in Canada, nor visit Canada, I am certain he spent plenty of time in the United States.
I see one of them going by H. Telemaque, my father was Hector Telemaque, so I doh know if this person has decided to impersonate me dead daddy!
Rockson now lives in Canada, so I imagine he has become the real Canadian Moo-moo!
These are the names they called me when I was a kid:
ET = Etienne Telemaque
.Fingers, because of an accident which caused two of my fingers to be amputated.
.Teeth, because they claimed my front tooth are too large, and I was always laughing!
. Dumplings ah burst de pat, because of something I said while my grandmother was coking
dumplings and salt fish one day.
Now you know me in person, you saw my tooth from close up; did you find anything strange about my tooth’s?
If one allow them, Wesley people will drive them mad!

Breathtaking. This is a good photographer. good job lovely pic.
Miss you Wesley
look so beautiful.
Beautiful pic Fingol!Keep them coming.
is not fransico fault, because all he see is walls in his face. if they need to be demolished, why don’t he come and donate the funds for that. it would be nice if you would contribute to your village or your country, but know you rather stay in the cold and freeze you behind out, maybe living in basement. the thing is some people never see the beauty of what they have until someonelse tells them. Beautiful photo.
As you all say if you go an pass at a certain place in Wesley, and I doh telling where all the concrete blocks you see piling up, is my money buying them to help somebody build a house oui; no how fast she succeed depends on the children oui!
So mind your business I doh giving all-you my money, cause all-you too like to beg!
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!
Take that oui!
If only you know how many people in Dominica I contribute money to on a regular basis, you would be singing a different tune, you might me come you can’t get some.
Perhaps if you have a name and you disclose it and I hear you have need I might give you a few dimes: Here is one name I can call, now because he passed away sometime ago, but I am sure you remember old man Cephas, for your information he was a recipients of the money I distributed in Wesley.
You just never heard about that, because I give in secret.
So, shut up; when I do things I do not do it to get my name in the papers, or on Radio and Television in Dominica.
Now write under your name, and tell me how many people in Wesley you have given a dime!

lovely would make a very nice postcard for friends and family
Oh My GOd!, I love it, photo of the day is getting better and better every day, I just can`t miss them. God blessed our nature Island.
Beauty at it’s best. God is such a wonderful creator, may my village Wesley be blessed. (h)
Beauty at what best?
Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, but I say; those old concrete structures has no beauty in them, they have been there for more than sixty years, the rails around the Church were put there recently, I have not been to Wesley since they were installed.
The Church is approximately an hundred and fifty years old plus or minus a few years!
I agree that most people are contented with what they have, however plenty of the pile of concrete boxes in our village need to be demolished, and replaced with more modern architectural structures.
The question now is do they have the money?
I mean the Atlantic ocean in the background looks beautiful, but I hope your are not seeing any beauty in the buildings standing there.
Francisco Etienne-Dods Telemaque
You must be living under a rock.Look a Teber man wi.Glad there is only one like you from Wesley.
when doesnt francisco criticise destructively?? tell me!!
“However plenty of the pile of concrete boxes in our village need to be demolished, and replaced with more modern architectural structures”.<<<<<< Francisco
FETele, there you go again, fighting to earn those thumbs down rating, you are really one of yourself in this world oui! Hehehehehehehe!
What is wrong with the Church being 150 years old? Our village Chapel is older than me, when I visit Dominica in 2008, it looked like new to me, and I am sure it will continue to glow as the years go by.
Why do those houses in the picture look like concrete boxes to you?
Well I did not see any concrete boxes in Giraudel, 4 years ago, much more for your village of Wesley, which I am sure has been in development long before Giraudel.
Man, why can you not try to move with the crowd at least once in your lifetime? And so, number 9 thumbs down is from me–sorry but I also see true beauty in that picture.
You would see it as well, if you would rebuke the negative cluster which has plagued your mind. Now have a good day, night, or morning–and I mean it!
please go suck on a Lemon!
Mr. Telemaque please go suck on a Lemon!
OMG, Canadian……., shut up already!
do you have anything good to say?, have you done anything to improve Wesley, just big mouth, show us your contributions or shut up..lovely pic
Just click on the picture. It will become larger. Then take a good look at the entire picture. You can scroll sideways, up and down. You will then appreciate this beautiful scene. Honestly, I think you are only ‘homesick’ I recommend that everytime you see a Photo of the Day” on DNO you do just as I instructed you and enjoy your country- even from a distance. I travel alot and enjoy other scenes but beautiful Dominica is HOME!!
WITH ALL DUE RESPECT MR.TELEMAQUE, YOU NEED TO BE BANNED FROM DNO AND SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED ENTRY INTO DOMINICA,PERIOD!!! YOU GENERATE TOO MUCH NEGATIVE ENERGY AND READING YOUR COMMENTS MAKE ME SICK. YOU NEED TO EMPOWER YOURSELF WITH MORE POSITVE ENERGY AND IF YOU DON’T HAVE ANYTHING NICE TO SAY…….. SHUT UP!!! YOU OBVIOUSLY DON’T KNOW BEAUTY BECAUSE YOU ARE SO DARN UGLY.
Sh t for brains
