Thank God there were no injuries. Sad that they may have lost some personal effects. Be careful with lighting a fire and leaving it unattended. It is like lighting a candle which gets out of hand. Fire is no respecter of people. It devours – burns everything in its path.
May those mosquitoes quell their invasion. Please God, put a hand.

Good stuff. Good use of technology. Aldo, a lesson for all as regards fires and ensuring over100% that they’re put out fully. Glad all came out safely.

@Anonymous – Marpin needs to return to the live news studio way of giving the news………..not this pre-recording a news cast for airing in the night.

(I have concluded that their newscasts are pre-recorded at an early time in the day for airing in the night based on certain video edits and news story transitions I have observed. I stand corrected if I was mistaken)

I find the pre-recording of their newscast lacks the feel and human relation touch of an actual live newscast. They need to be innovative. How about having some live interviews on issues eg call up a subject in a matter who wants to be interviewed? How about having two opposing point of views engage in a healthy clash for a few minutes on the news…..

Their pre-recording format of giving the news sometimes makes the news feel dry like “Well such and such things happened today in DA, this person said such and such a thing,……..then goodnight, sleep well. Tune in tomorrow same time.”

I have wondered that suppose a breaking news event occurs while Marpin is airing its pre-recorded news cast at its scheduled time in the night, would viewers have to wait until the next day to find out what happened or hope some other local media gives a live update on that breaking news event…

I must complement them on their innovations to the Weather reporting section of the news though. Good job on that aspect.

Great job by the Fire Services! (as always…)

It’s good to see the people appreciate and go out of their way to express that. And fantastic video coverage and editing also. I want to know who these guys and ladies are…

Ikr! That new reporter on Marpin reads and reports news like a gun is pointed to her head. No life in the reports. No smile; no reaction; just dead! She is very articulare though…I miss Ms. Christian. This new girl makes me sleep!
